Staff
Scott Joseph, lead pastor
Scott started High Rock Church along with a team of 25 people during the summer of 2008. His main responsibilities include preaching, training leaders, and generally helping to drive the vision forward. He and his wife Stacy have two incredibly cute kids - Zoe, born in 2005, and Asher, born in 2008.
Tim Reeves, associate pastor
Tim is our associate pastor and Pacific Northwest transfer. He and his wife Lindsay moved to Bloomington from Seattle in 2008 to help start High Rock. He shares preaching responsibility with Scott and also helps to oversee the details of the Sunday morning service. Tim is now the proud dad of Olivia, born in June 2010.
Leaders
Eric Welch, overseer / graphic design
Eric, along with Scott and Tim, serves as an overseer on our board. He is an integral part of planning out the vision for High Rock. He also uses his creative talents and technical know-how to create the excellent graphics that make us look really good. He and his wife Heather are the proud parents of Ben, born in September 2009.
Jonathon Hill, worship leader
Jonathon is the worship leader at High Rock. He and his wife Courtney moved with the original team from Carbondale in 2008 to help start the church. Jonathon's responsibilities include leading the church in worship and leading the band musically.
Jason Briggs, kids program director
As the Kids Director, Jason has a lot of responsibilities within our consistently growing High Rock Kids Program. He oversees curriculum, worker training, and general leadership of all our kids teams, all while doing an exceptional job connecting with the kids and families. Jason and his wife Sharon began attending High Rock in the fall of 2008, shortly after the church started. They are the proud parents of Gunnar, born in March 2010
Monica Butler, bookkeeper
Monica's excellent attention to detail helps us handle all the financial transactions and record keeping for the church. She also does our announcements at the start of our Sunday morning services. Monica and her husband Danny moved to Bloomington in the summer of 2008 to help start High Rock. Their first baby, Caleb, was born in April 2011.
