Spring Retreat
Jesus gave his first followers clear direction about what their lives were to be about after he ascended back to the Father and sent the Holy Spirit to live in them. They were commissioned with the task of making disciples who would give their lives to Jesus and learn to obey all he commanded. That commission still stands for the church today and we are serious about making disciples at High Rock Church.
Tony Ranvestel, lead pastor of Clear River Church in Lafayette, IN will teach us from the Bible about how to grow as a church in our obedience to Jesus' call of disciple making. Come join us for a great weekend of Biblical preaching, worship, community, and prayer ministry as we seek empowerment to live out the instruction of Scripture and commission of Jesus.
SCHEDULE
Friday, March 26-Saturday, March 27
Friday night:
- 6:00 p.m. - Registration and dinner
- 7:00 - Session One
- 10:00 - Bonfire (weather permitting)
Saturday:
- 8:00 a.m. - Breakfast
- 9:00 - Session Two
- 12:00 - Lunch
- 1:00 - Free time (nap, basketball, hike, etc.)
- 4:00 - Session Three
- 6:00 - Retreat ends
WHAT TO BRING
Bed linens and towels are provided. Meals are provided beginning with dinner on Friday night. You are on your own for dinner Saturday night after the retreat ends. Also remember to bring your Bible, toiletries, and warm clothes for the bonfire and outdoor activities.
HOW TO REGISTER
Registration forms are available at the information table during the Sunday service or at the High Rock office throughout the week. The cost is $50 for students, $60 for non-students, and $120 for married couples. Include payment with your registration form and place it in the offering baskets on Sunday or return it to the office.
