Spring Retreat
Throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles… That is a calling from the Bible that invites us to lay aside the sin that holds us back from the life God desires for us. But how do we do it? We all struggle with sin. How do we gain increasing freedom from the sin that so easily entangles and instead grow into the righteous life that God desires? If you have ever been in a place of desperately wanting more freedom in your life, this spring retreat is going to focus on how we cooperate with God to work out our salvation.
Come join us for a great weekend of Biblical preaching, worship, community, and prayer ministry as we seek empowerment to live out the instruction of Scripture to grow towards maturity in our faith.
SCHEDULE
Friday, March 25-Saturday, March 26
Friday night:
- 6:00 p.m. - Registration and dinner
- 7:00 - Session One
- 10:00 - Bonfire (weather permitting)
Saturday:
- 8:00 a.m. - Breakfast
- 9:00 - Session Two
- 12:00 - Lunch
- 1:00 - Free time (nap, basketball, hike, etc.)
- 4:00 - Session Three
- 6:00 - Retreat ends
WHAT TO BRING
Bed linens and towels are not provided, please bring any bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows, etc.). Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday are provided, as well as a hot dog and s'more cookout (weather permitting). You are on your own for dinner Friday and Saturday night after the retreat ends. Also remember to bring your Bible, notepad, toiletries, and warm clothes for the bonfire and outdoor activities.
HOW TO REGISTER
Registration forms are available at the information table during the Sunday service or at the High Rock office throughout the week. The cost is $50 for students, $60 for non-students, and $120 for married couples. Include payment with your registration form and place it in the offering baskets on Sunday or return it to the office.
