What to Expect

What to Expect

We gather Sundays at 10 AM. Our services typically last an hour and 30 minutes.  There is no need to dress up; please be comfortable in your normal weekend clothes. You will be welcomed by greeters and given a welcome card.  Then, as you enter the lobby, feel free to help yourself to coffee, tea and donuts – you are welcome to bring them with you to your seat.

Before the Service

There is no need to dress up. Please feel comfortable in your normal weekend clothes. After parking, enter through either the upper or lower level entrance. You will see a greeter there to welcome you. When you walk in, feel free to grab a cup of coffee and find a seat in our auditorium, the service will begin shortly.

Kids & Youth

We have a great Kids’ Program with trusted and trained teachers. Here, your children will learn about Jesus through age-appropriate lessons in a safe and fun environment while you attend service. On Sundays, we begin welcoming children 15 minutes prior to each service. There will be a host outside of the Kids' Program to help you check in.

After the service is over, the teachers will remain with your children until you pick them up. Please try to pick your children up within 15 minutes of the service ending.

Our Kids’ Program is for infants through 5th grade, while middle school and high school students are encouraged to attend the service. For more info about our youth group, check out our Youth page.

During the Service

Worship
We begin by singing 3-4 songs to God. The music is current, ranging from modern hymns to contemporary worship songs.

Announcements
One of our pastors will close our time in worship with prayer and then give any announcements and updates about what's happening at High Rock.

Teaching
A pastor will teach from the Bible for 35-45 minutes. We aim to teach the Bible in a way that is clear and understandable to all, regardless of church experience.

Prayer
After teaching, we finish by singing one more song.  We also use this time to pray for anyone who would like. The pastor will invite those who would like to receive prayer to come forward and a trusted member of our prayer team will respectfully lay a hand on their shoulder and pray for them.
